Thats right, control your income in your underwear.

There’s too many things we can’t control in our lives but one thing ought to be a slam dunk: we should be able to control how much money we make.  In traditional job settings, we can’t even do that.  We gotta depend on someone else to tell us what we’re worth.  We gotta ask for raises and take the hit when there’s nothing but “cost of living” to be had.

How would you like to control the amount of money coming into your bank account every week?

With an at-home online marketing business you have this freedom.  Imagine NOT having to have that awkward yearly conversation where you tell the boss what you think you’re worth and s(he) tells you why you’re really not worth that at all.

Man, talk about taking a hit to your self esteem.  When you have your own business you have no one but yourself to answer to.  If you make money it’s because you set it up, worked hard, and got it done.  And with an online at home business, you can always find ways to make more money.

Let me give you a concrete example of how it works, and how it feels to have control over how much money you make:  I do online marketing for various web-based businesses.  Essentially, they pay me to advertise their products.  I did plenty of research and found businesses that give me all the technology, tools, and support I need to succeed.  But the effort is MINE.  I put the whole thing together, get the auto systems in place, and establish a basic weekly income.

AGN

Take AGN for example: I post one ad a day and I get paid.  Thats right, it takes me less than one minute to do the ad on a free site.  Copy and paste and I make 10$.  But I have control over what I make.  If I choose to post 50 ads a day I make 5k a week.  I don’t ask for a raise, I just go take it.

OK, once I got the system going I can improve on it.  I can choose to ramp up the number of hours I put in or I can branch out to other online marketing ventures.  It’s sort of like being a consultant in the “brick and mortar” world – having a bunch of clients I work for but it’s my business.  Only with online marketing I don’t have to commute, worry about weather, wear nice clothes, or wear clothes, or listen to difficult bosses.

There are times when my income bumps up substantially, when I’m on a roll.  Then it plateaus a little and I have to start thinking, creating, and moving again.  It’s really a lot of fun and challenging in ways I never thought possible. I only have myself to answer to and that’s the toughest kind of accountability possible, right?  So if I’ve had a lean week – maybe making only my guaranteed minimum – it’s my own doing.  And sometimes I choose not to work too hard or sometimes the family demands more attention and I work less.  That’s all good, because it’s my choice.

So yes, there’s an endless list of things we can’t control:  what other people think, who’s gonna win the Super Bowl, what the weather will be like, or how bad traffic can get.  In fact, there’s plenty more things OUT OF our control than in it.  But with an at home online business, you get to steer the course of how much money you make. And that’s as good as it gets.
